Commonly asked questions
Is my location visible after the event ends?
No. Location sharing is only turned on once the event that you're a part of has gone live. Once that event ends, it's off. You can even override during the event and set yourself to view only instead of sharing location. You're in charge of your location sharing information for events.
How many people can join one event?
No cap. Ten people or ten thousand, the map works the same. A Tuesday night ride, a whole wedding weekend, a rally with three hundred cars. Invite everyone who's coming.
Does it work without cell signal?
Partly. Your phone knows where it is without a signal. That's GPS, not data. Sharing it with the group is the part that needs a connection, so in a real dead zone your pin goes quiet until you're back on. Most rides never leave coverage. If yours does, pick a meeting point before you set off.
Is Onvas free during the beta?
Yes, and it stays free for groups like yours. Your bike club, your wedding, your friends heading to a festival. That's not what we'd charge for. Paid plans are for platforms building Onvas into their own product, and for events at real scale. No card, no trial countdown.
Can I offer Onvas to my own customers?
Yes. If you sell weddings, tours, club memberships, or anything with a date and a guest list, Onvas can run as a white-labeled add-on. Get in touch and let's talk.
